I finally got Cari to eat cereal. I would battle her and battle her and she usually ended up winning. I tried everything (or so I thought). Different flavors, different times, she would have nothing to do with it. I didn't want it to become and unpleasant experience for her and have her cry every time she would eat. So, I decided to pull back and not feed her cereal for a few days thinking maybe she just wasn't ready.
In the meantime, while I was at my parents' house, I made her a bowl cereal (hoping she would eat it) with bottled water that was really cold. Knowing ahead of time she would probably turn her nose up at it, I decided to heat in the micro for a few seconds. She gobbled it up and then an entire other bowl too! I was so excited. She finally would eat cereal. I stumbled on that theory by pure dumb luck. I can't believe she would be so picky as to have it warmed up. Sheesh!
Then, last night, I decided to try her first small tub of vegetables. I started with peas, as I did with Owen. I like to start with the green veggies first, then the orange veggies and then the fruit. I don't know very many kids who won't eat the fruit, but know lots of them who won't eat the veggies.
Now, I despise peas. I will not eat them; not in a house, not with a mouse; I do not like them Sam I Am! Wait, I digressed. Back to Cari and the peas......anywho, she ate the entire tub! I couldn't believe it. Neither Adam nor I like them and not only did Owen eat them, now Cari eats them too. What are the chances?
Hopefully, we are on our way to having Cari eat more food other than just cereal.

What a great moment! It is so fun to see their reactions to different tastes and textures!
