Corn Through a Picket Fence

Owen has a mouthful of teeth. He got his first two teeth at 5 1/2 months and hasn't looked back since. In fact, he has only the last set of molars to come in and he will have ALL of his baby teeth. Owen has plenty of room in his mouth to house all of those teeth. So much room, that he has gaps all over, especially between his top two teeth. I was the same way as a little kid, and still have a ton of room. I even have all four of my wisdom teeth and STILL have plenty of room. Of course in my family, the joke is that I (and Owen) could eat corn through a picket fence.

But, I digress. We had corn on the cob the other night with dinner. It was expertly cooked on the grill by Adam, which turned out yumm-o! We tried to get Owen to eat corn on the cob the last time we had it, and he would have nothing to do with it. Okay, whatever. However, the last time we had it, he wanted to try it, so I let him. He loved it and wanted to do it himself, of course. I had to help him hold the cob since it was dripping with butter and S&P.

I'm just glad Owen is trying more and more vegetables that I don't have to hide in either rice or noodles. Way to go O-man!
