For a few months now Adam has wanted to get Owen's hair cut. I was against it because Owen is still a "baby" and it just seemed too soon to do it. I finally worked up the mindset to get it cut and when I buzzed Adam's hair in Idaho, I wanted to buzz Owen's too. Adam didn't want to buzz it, he just wanted to "trim it". But, tonight it was time for the inevitable to happen. Owen finally got his first haircut. We took him to Snip Its and the lady did a fantastic job with Owen. She got him use to the chair and comfortable in the chair by blowing bubbles and making him laugh. Then, she asked Adam and I how much we wanted to take off of Owen's hair. She started the clippers with a #8 guard and then moved to a #7. She trimmed around Owen's ears, trimmed the top and viola! a handsome little boy appeared. Owen was rewarded with an orange flavored sucker, which he ate when he got home. After sharing his sucker with Baxter, Owen cried when Baxter wouldn't give it back. (Baxter eventually ate the sucker). I made it all better when I gave Owen some smarties instead.
While waiting to get Owen's haircut, I tried some sunglasses on Caroline. I couldn't resist. They were just begging me to put them on her. She looked adorable in them.
