Nope, It's Not Allergies

I thought when I put Owen to bed on Saturday night that he sounded a little stuffy and that perhaps it was allergies. The wind had been blowing and maybe, just maybe, had stirred something into the air and that was the reason Owen was sneezing.

Then, Sunday morning when he woke up with a barking cough, I had a pretty good idea that it wasn't going to be allergies. Owen stayed home from church with Adam yesterday and I took Biggi with me.

When I got home, I gave Owen some more medicine hoping to "nip it in the bud". That didn't work either. Instead, this morning his cough is worse and sneezing nonstop. But, on the bright side of things, the doctor said his lungs are clear, ears are clear, and even though he has a low grade fever, he's okay. I just have to keep doing what I'm doing.....Delsym cough syrup, Mucinex Cough, lots and lots and lots of liquids and a touch of Benadryl along with the Delsym at night.

Did I mention Owen is cutting the last of his molars. In fact, the bottom right one is already through, the left one is coming in and the upper gums are bulging as if they are getting ready to come through as well. Great! The sooner I can have at least 1 of the kids done teething the better. You see, Biggi is cutting her first molars as well. It's joyful in this house...let me tell you.
