It's not exactly a cake that Owen is helping me bake, but it was banana chocolate chip bread. I love this time of year for several reasons, one of which is I get to bake. I LOVE to bake. I can bake and bake and bake all day long and NEVER get sick of it. The best part about it, I don't necessarily like to eat it all. I just LOVE to bake it.
I wanted to do something with Owen this weekend and this bright idea of mine popped into my head. I had bananas that were over ripe and needed to be used somehow so I thought he could help me make the bread. He was such a great helper. I am going to be ambitious and try making sugar cookies with him and see how well that goes. I'll let you all know.
In the meantime, I think I'll go and try the banana bread and see how it turned out.
