The Circus Is In Town - Family Style

Adam and I celebrated Adam's birthday by taking the kiddos to the circus. I hadn't been to the circus since many moons ago, somewhere along the age of 5 or 6. I'd always wanted to go back and now I have....and the kids got their first trip in too.

The traffic to get to the circus was horrendous! It took what seemed like forever to move 1/4 of a mile. It was incredibly frustrating because we were so close - we could see the arena - yet so far. By the time we got inside and settled, we missed the elephants and 75% of the tiger show. Caroline LOVED the tigers and didn't want to see them go. I was kind of sad to miss the elephants as well but, later in the show they brought them back out, along with the newest little elephant and her mommy! It was too cute.

Owen loved see all of the motorcycles inside the cage driving all at the same time. That was pretty neat to see, if I do say so myself. This show wasn't as exciting as the Disney show we took the kids to, but they loved it nonetheless.

We had a good time. The kids behaved really well. Regardless of how frustrating the night began, how much we had to pay for parking, or how far we had to walk once we did find a parking spot, no matter how heavy Howie got while caring him back to the car because he fell asleep (yes, Adam did offer to carry him), it was a really fun night spent together as a family.
