The Great Outdoors

Instead of going on the Fathers and Sons campout with our ward, Adam decided he would take both of the kids camping. I, of course, had no problem with this, with maybe the tiny exception that he didn't take Howie. Next time for sure. They left yesterday afternoon and it was just a quick overnight trip. But, this time gone has left me all kinds of time to catch up things that I have neglected, like our blog.

Caroline did okay sleeping in the tent and sleeping bag, with the tiny exception of having an accident in the sleeping bag. Owen loved it and did just fine. The kids were kind of disappointed because there was a fire ban and that meant no s'mores for the kids. Maybe next time there won't be the ban.

All-in-all, the kids had a great time and we got caught up on our blog.
