Goodbye 2007, Hello 2008! It seems like just yesterday that I was saying hello to 2007. Where has the time gone? I remember in grade school, the years just seemed to drag by. My 5th grade teacher told me to wait and that they would only go by faster as I got older. I never thought that would be possible, but he was so right. I never would've imagined an entire year screaming by and I would not know where the time had gone.
I've decided to try something new this year.....set some resolutions. I've never done it in the past and thought it would be pointless for me as I was sure to break them by January 2nd. But, I'm going to have a positive outlook and know that I won't meet all of my goals, but I should be able to meet some.
The resolutions I've set aren't difficult, but they are monotonous and extremely ambitious, even Adam said that. I told him that was a polite way of saying I wasn't going to make them all. He just shook his head at me and said, "No, I'm just saying your ambitious." We'll leave it at that.
Some of the resolutions include: Running 6 miles by June; writing in my journal more; spending money more wisely; taking at least 1 college course; making at least 2 new friends (can you really have enough friends?); being more patient with the kids (I'll probably have to reset this resolution weekly, if not daily sometimes); running 13 miles by the end of the year (that's a 1/2 marathon); being in better shape, etc. You get the drift. That's not even 1/2 of my list. Hence, the ambitious comment. I agree, it is ambitious. But why not set a bunch of goals and achieve a handful, than set a few and make none?
Anywho. I just wanted to wish you all a happy, prosperous, joyous, and harmonious new year. May peace continue to be with you from last year to this year.

Love the new back ground. Did you get the paper from Lorena's photo bucket account? Probably not cuz you didn't want me to copy you again.
