Adam had his blood drawn last Wednesday for his liver function test ("lft") to check the levels of his enzymes. We got really good news in that the lft showed his enzymes were dropping rapidly. The AST enzyme is almost to normal and the ALT enzyme is ONLY 4 times high normal. I say ONLY 4 times high, because when he left the hospital it was 15 almost 16 times higher than what it should be. So, we'll take 4 times higher. Adam will have to have his blood drawn again in another 3 weeks and about once per month thereafter to make sure they stay in the normal range and don't go back up.
Adam did go into the office last Thursday. This week is his first full week back to work and it makes me happy to have him going into the office.
