I Love This Game!

We went with some friends of ours to go bowling yesterday (yes, we have friends!). Owen had so much fun. I was absolutely amazed that he was able to pick up not only the 6 pound, but the 8 pound bowling ball all my himself. Granted, he almost dropped it on his toes, but nevertheless, he was able to pick up the balls. He wanted to chase the ball down the lane and Adam almost had to go down the lane to get Owen if he hadn't grabbed Owen at the last minute. It is definitely something we are going to do again in the near future.

I wasn't sure that Owen would be able to grasp the concept of bowling, but he did pretty well. Owen knocked down more pins in his first frame than Adam got in his first frame. In fact, if it wasn't for the one and only strike that I got, he would've gotten a higher score than me. Pathetic I know, but I never claimed to be a great, good, or even decent bowler, but I still love to go.
